As a public charter school, Corvian Community School must supplement the budget with fundraising in order to fully supply our classrooms. Public Charter Schools DO NOT receive funds for capital expenses (buildings, land, renovations, classroom furniture and equipment).
Fundraising is an unfortunate reality in today’s schools. However, our hope is that the fundraisers in which Corvian participates not only improve our budget, but build and strengthen the Corvian community at the same time.
We will never ask children to do door-to-door
sales. Instead, we will choose events that bring
the people of Corvian together for positive
experiences, such as our
golf tournament,
auction, and
Health and
Wellness events.
