The registration period for the 2017-2018 school year will take place from November 1, 2016 to January 31, 2017. The lottery drawing will take place on Tuesday, March 7th at 4:30pm.  Results will be available online after the drawing.

  • Online Lottery Registration - CLOSED

  • Late applications (received after January 31) will be added to the bottom of the wait list after the lottery drawing. If you would like to be added to the 2017-2018 wait list, complete this form and mail to the address below. Late applications will NOT be accepted via electronic (email) or fax submission.

Note: Beginning August 2017, late applications will not accepted and new students will not be admitted after the 20th school day.

You may choose ONLY ONE of the registration options below. If duplicate applications are found, you will be notified and may be disqualified from the lottery. Erroneous registration content may also negatively impact your enrollment and lottery eligibility.

  • Option 1: Single Child Registration. If you have only one child (i.e. no siblings) to register for the lottery, you must select this option. You may not select this option if you have more than one child to register for the lottery.

  • Option 2: Multiple Child Registration. If you have more than one child (including multiple birth siblings) to register for the lottery, you must select this option. The child you list FIRST will represent your family and determine which grade your registration number will be entered in for the lottery drawing.

All registered children in a family will be assigned ONE unique lottery registration number. If that registration number is admitted AND you accept the spot, then ALL siblings will be placed on the sibling priority wait list in the order of the admitted sibling's position and admit date.
Lottery Procedure

All applicants who submit a registration during the registration period will be entered into the Corvian lottery. The lottery will be held at the Johnston Oehler Campus on Tuesday, March 7th at 4:30pm to determine admission.

The Corvian Community School Board of Directors will determine the number of openings at each grade level prior to the lottery.

Openings will first be filled using the sibling priority wait list. Afterwards, a lottery draw program will be utilized to fill any openings in each grade. Once all openings are filled, the lottery draw will continue to determine the order of the wait list for each grade.

Following the lottery, all participants will be able to obtain lottery results directly through the Corvian website using their unique registration number (no names or personal information will be used). You may email lottery@corvian.org if you have questions about your registration number.

NOTE: Since all registered children in a family are assigned ONE unique lottery registration number, if you registered using the multiple child registration method (Option 2), you will only find your registration number on the FIRST child’s grade level wait list. You will not find your registration number on the grade level wait list for their siblings. You may email lottery@corvian.org if you have questions about the wait list status of a sibling.

Following the lottery, families who have been admitted will be formally notified by an email from the admissions office. Once this email is received, families have seven (7) calendar days to formally accept their spot(s) at Corvian. Formal acceptance will be in the form of submitting a complete enrollment packet. Failure to formally accept within the seven calendar day period will constitute forfeiture of the child's spot. The admissions office will continue to move down the wait list until all available spots are filled.

Wait Lists
Until all available spots are filled, the admissions office will continue to admit from each grade’s wait list. As a whole, the wait list will dissolve each year on January 15. Applicants who are not admitted from the wait list must reapply for the Corvian lottery each year. You may email lottery@corvian.org if you have questions regarding the wait list.
