Corvian Community School is currently a private school serving children in kindergarten through second grade. CCS has been granted Charter Status for the 2012-2013 school year, and will serve Kindergarten through Third Grade. Each year, a new grade will be added to complete an elementary school. Corvian is committed to small class size, and will have 18 to 22 students per classroom served by a teacher and a full-time assistant in each room. Corvian believes in quality public education and that every child has the right to an excellent education. Corvian Community School is modeled after the successful charter Community School of Davidson. To ensure authentic alignment with Community School of Davidson practices and philosophies, Corvian Community School has hired Lisa Humphries, a CSD lead teacher and educational consultant.
