Yes! Apps are available for iOS and Android devices.

Q: As a parent, what can I see in Schoology?

Schoology provides a platform for communication between the school and families. At the middle and high school level, parents are able to review the course content and monitor their student’s progress by viewing calendar updates, assignments, resources, discussions, completed assessments, and grades posted by their student’s teachers. At the elementary school level, parents are able to access weekly newsletters and homework assignments. Parents will access these by viewing their student’s profile and/or receiving a daily or weekly email digest. Schoology does not allow for parents to receive email notifications when changes or updates are made to a student’s account.

Q: I am the parent of a middle/high school level student. What should I do if I have a question about the grades or resources on one of my student’s course pages?

We ask that you encourage your student to email or speak directly to their teacher to get answers to questions about course policies, course content, or grades. If you and your student still have questions after your student has spoken with the teacher, please send the teacher an email.

Q: Is it possible to message teachers through Schoology?

No. The best way to contact a teacher is via email. Teacher email addresses can be found in the staff directory.

Q: How does the Calendar work?

You are able to view calendar updates made by the school and by each of your student's teachers on the calendar. At the middle and high school levels, teachers often post dates for tests and quizzes and due dates for homework, assignments, and projects. While teachers make every effort to keep these postings up-to-date, students must make note of any changes announced in class.

Information about final grade calculations can be found in the Middle School Curriculum Guide and the  High School Curriculum Guide.
